Marc Riera has been SEAT S.A.’s Executive Vice-President for Purchasing since July 2023.
 

With over 20 years of international experience within the Volkswagen Group, Riera has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a proven track record in Purchasing, R&D and Electrification strategy.
 

Riera took on the role of Vice-President for Purchasing after leading the New Projects and Purchase Strategy area for SEAT S.A. He also serves as President of the Future: Fast Forward grouping. Through this project, SEAT S.A., the Volkswagen Group, PowerCo and partners are investing 10 billion euros to transform Spain into a European hub for electric mobility.
 

Marc Riera graduated with a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). His professional background also includes working internationally at Volkswagen Mexico, where he served as Commodity Purchasing Manager and previously at SEAT S.A where he held various positions in the Purchasing and Logistics departments.
