- The brand will become the 75th Berlin International Film Festival’s new mobility partner with its zero-emission vehicles

CUPRA has announced that will join forces with the Berlinale and will become the new Principal Partner and official mobility partner of the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, that will take place in February 2025. As part of the agreement, the brand will provide the Berlinale's car fleet from 2025, taking the festival’s guests of honour and film crews to their premieres and events in zero-emission vehicles. In addition, CUPRA together with the Berlinale, will develop a new version of The Dream Makers, a project that searches for the next generation of filmmakers.
This perfectly matches the spirit of the film festival and its objectives to discover new talent, attract young audiences, and support filmmakers of all disciplines on their journey into the spotlight. The festival is embracing initiatives such as this collaboration with CUPRA with the aim to blend the tradition of auteur cinema with modern sensibilities, promoting inclusion, sustainability, and narratives that reflect the realities of today's audiences.

Encouraging young cinematic talent
With this alliance, CUPRA will further extend its commitment beyond the automotive industry and underlines the brand’s continuing commitment the world of cinema. CUPRA counts renowned Hollywood actor Daniel Brühl and internationally acclaimed Spanish director J.A. Bayona among its brand ambassadors. In May 2024, the brand launched CUPRA's The Dream Makers and, in collaboration with the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC), an innovative competition that nurtures and develops emerging cinematic talent. CUPRA is also the Automotive Partner of the Sitges Film Festival, the world’s most important cinematic event dedicated to fantasy and horror cinema.
