  • SEAT S.A. is providing home care health personnel with three SEAT Ibizas
  • With this collaboration, the company reaffirms its commitment to society

SEAT S.A. has signed a collaboration agreement with the Hospital Clínic Barcelona to provide the hospital with three SEAT Ibizas. These cars will be given to enable the mobility of professionals in the Hospital Clínic's Home Care Area (HCA), with the aim of providing safe, high-quality care to patients in their places of residence.

The cars were given at an event attended by the Director of Corporate Operations of SEAT S.A., Dr. Patricia Such, and the General Director of the Hospital Clínic Barcelona, Dr. Josep Maria Campistol.

The Home Care Area at the Hospital Clínic Barcelona is a service that offers patients the possibility of receiving hospital care from home, under conditions similar to those they will receive in the hospital. In addition to improving the quality of home care, this agreement will also seek to evaluate the impact of urban mobility on home health care.

With this gift we once again demonstrate the commitment of SEAT S.A. to people's health. We hope that this agreement contributes to improving the quality of home medical care and, at the same time, achieves more efficient mobility in the field of health,” commented Dr. Patricia Such.

Through this collaboration, SEAT S.A. reaffirms once again its social commitment to health and to Barcelona. Recent examples are the use of CASA SEAT as a COVID-19 vaccination centre in the centre of the city, and the administration of more than 120,000 vaccines to people of all ages.

Furthermore, the commitment of SEAT S.A. to health and well-being can be seen through the work of the SEAT Healthy Company Scientific Committee, which participates in pioneering projects with some of the world’s main medical institutions, such as the Harvard TH CHAN School of Public Health, the Hospital Clínic Barcelona and the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol.
