• The new CUPRA Terramar arrives at CASA SEAT on September 4th, within the framework of the America’s Cup

CASA SEAT is kicking off September with the arrival of the CUPRA Terramar, the brand's new electrified sports SUV that pays tribute to the Terramar circuit, and the official car of the America's Cup, as well as a varied programme of scheduled events on the occasion of Mobility Week their usual music, comedy, and cultural sessions.

Following the World premiere of the new CUPRA Terramar on September 3rd at IMAX Port Vell in Barcelona, CASA SEAT will bring this model closer to the public on the 4th by offering an open presentation. Barcelonians will have the opportunity to get an exclusive look at the electric sports SUV that combines design, high performance, and cutting-edge technology, presented by two CUPRA Design and Product experts, and with Renata Zanchi as the host.

The presentation of the new CUPRA model is taking place during the celebration of one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events - the America’s Cup, hosted by Barcelona from August to October. CUPRA and the America’s Cup share the same winning mindset and sporting DNA, making this global event the perfect setting to unveil the new electrified SUV, which combines design, high performance and cutting-edge technology.

CASA SEAT is supporting the America’s Cup by broadcasting live all the sailing match races from 29 August until the end of the competition. Visitors will be able to enjoy the races in a unique atmosphere, the showroom of the space, experiencing the action of one of the most important sporting events in the world like never before.

In addition to showcasing the races, in September the CUPRA Collection product line capsule, created in collaboration with America’s Cup, will also be available at CASA SEAT, as well as a driving videogame in which players can test their skill on a Barcelona-inspired circuit that captures the essence and thrill of the America’s Cup. 

September comes to CASA SEAT with a cultural agenda that’s packed with art and music. Visitors will be able to enjoy the last week of the sustainable art exhibition RE-ART, which includes workshops on trash cooking as well as creating DIY instruments from recycled materials. As a closing event for the exhibition, attendees will enjoy Bufa&Sons in concert. This music and comedy trio, led by musician and showman Xavi Lozano, will take visitors on a comedic and educational journey.

CASA SEAT will be the setting for two very special concerts in September. On the 14th, Miranda Fernández, Cristina López and Lucas Balbo are coming to the CASA SEAT auditorium to give a live performance of 88-M, a record with which this trio seeks to pay tribute to the female flamenco singers of yesterday who made this genre what it is today. Later, on the 28th, Núria Duran, accompanied by the multi-instrumentalist musician Marc Esteve, will reveal her personal universe through electronic pop and bedroom pop compositions, bringing the month of music to a close.

CASA SEAT is celebrating Friday the 13th with a touch of humour. The fifth edition of CASA SEAT Comedy, the series that brings together prominent stand-up comedians to offer nights full of laughter and entertainment, will feature two exceptional comedians - Saray Cerro, comedian, scriptwriter and actress, and contributor to different À Punt programmes; and humourist and comedian Guillem Estadella, who has captivated audiences with his shows “Estoy madurando” and “Quin pollastre!”

The Moments Estel·lars cycle returns after the holidays on 16 September, focusing on one of the mainstays of the city, its business schools. The participants in this new session, under the title Business schools, a magnet for talent for Barcelona, will be UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM) managing director José M. Martínez-Sierra and director of the executive programs (NEP) at IESE Jordi Utgés, and the session will be moderated by Toni Aira.

CASA SEAT joins Mobility Week 2024 with activities that explore the future of mobility, innovation in the sector and the latest industry trends, highlighting the intersection between the car industry, technology and sustainability.

On the 17th, visitors will be able to attend two round tables organised by CARNET, which will address topics such as intelligent infrastructures, traffic management systems and vehicle connectivity. With speakers such as Xavier Daura (Abertis Motorways), Oliva Cantú (NOMMON), Dr. Cecilio Angulo (UPC) and David Pardos (Eurecat), these sessions aim to provide a full picture of the sector and its future.

On the same day, CASA SEAT will also host the presentation “Auto Mobility Trends 2024”, which will offer a comprehensive overview of the latest and future trends in the field of mobility and will become a space for debate on the innovations and challenges that will shape the future of transport.

To close the week, car designer, photographer and art director Oriol Vilanova is presenting his new book Wheels & Watches, which compiles the insights of more than 50 leading figures in the watchmaking and automotive sectors, including Jorge Díez, Design Director of CUPRA and SEAT. In this meeting with the author, those attending will be able to learn about the personal accounts that mark these two worlds and discover the common ground between these two sectors.
